Involved in research since April 2000
- Principal Investigator of the following research project carried out from Oct 2003 to Nov 2004: “Effect of consuming food cooked in iron utensils on iron status in children with Iron Deficiency Anemia.” Chitnavis Memorial Medical Research Trust, Nagpur, had funded this project. This project is completed.
- Co-investigator in the following research project “A Pilot Study Of Microbial Patterns Of Infections And Correlation With CD4+ Cell Count In HIV Positive Vs HIV Negative Children of Age 18 months-12 years in a Tertiary Health Care Setting.” which was conducted between January 2005 and 2006.
- Principal site Investigator in the following research project which was a multicentric study by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik conducted between Dec 06 to Jan 08- ‘Phase IV clinical trial to study reactogenicity of booster dose of DPT vaccine.’ It was funded by Serum Institute of India Ltd.
- Co-investigator in the “IndiaCLEN sponsored Severe Pneumonia Oral Therapy” which was a multicentric study. It commenced in Jan 2008 and completed in May 2011.
- Co-investigator in the World Bank and Alive and Thrive sponsored study- “Effectiveness of cell phone counseling for improving breast feeding indicators” which commenced in Jan 2010 and completed in June 2012
Approved as Post graduate guide by Nagpur University for Paediatrics in Jan 2005. Approved as Post graduate Teacher by MUHS, Nashik with effect from 4th August 2006.
